Christmas Party 2024

The NDGC Christmas social, held at Bawdeswell Village Hall on the 1st of December 2024, was a wonderful way for members to come together and celebrate the festive season. The event was filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of goaty-themed fun. Members got into the holiday spirit by decorating goaty biscuits, each adding their personal touch to the festive treats. The biscuits were a real hit, with some members showcasing their baking skills and others letting their imagination run wild with icing, sprinkles, and festive decorations.

One of the highlights of the event was the judging of the hat competition. Everyone arrived sporting their best Christmas hats, some with goaty touches, others more traditional. It was a lighthearted and fun competition, with everyone eagerly eyeing each other’s creations before casting their votes. Alongside the hats, there was plenty of delicious cheese and cakes to sample, adding to the festive atmosphere and providing a perfect excuse for people to mingle and chat.

The event wasn’t just about the fun and games, though – it was also an opportunity for members to connect and reflect on the year gone by. It was heartwarming to see both old and new members sharing stories, supporting each other’s goaty pursuits, and making plans for the future. The NDGC truly shines as a community, and this Christmas social was a perfect example of the camaraderie that makes it so special. Everyone left the event feeling uplifted, with a renewed sense of connection and excitement for the year ahead.
